It is a cool and cloudy 55 degrees on Hilton Head Island today. The rest of the Stanzel clan (Brother Steve and Sister Kristin and their respective families) will arrive today for the little reunion we are having with the Gene Pottenger family.

Some are on the beach, some are napping and some are playing games at the spacious home Mom reserved for the week. I’m reading and listening to the classic tunes (Stones, Police, CCR) on the Rock-Ola juke box. Today’s book is “Memorial Day,” the fifth in Vince Flynn’s excellent series about Mitch Rapp – a CIA superagent and terrorist fighting commando. If you are into political thrillers, Flynn’s books are a must-read.
