I haven't heard anything about a full Ironman race in Boulder, yet. However, I'd guess that the World Triathlon Corporation folks would consider it - especially if their first "M dot" branded 70.3 race goes well next August. I would venture to guess that there are more triathletes per capita in Boulder than just about anywhere in the nation. A bunch of the world's best live in Boulder (Matt Reed, Dave Scott, Laura and Greg Bennett, to name a few), so I'm sure they'd push for it. At 5,400 plus feet, it'd certainly be a test.
