Dallas Visit

I’m in Dallas, Texas, for a few days. I had the opportunity to go to the Cowboys-Seahawks game today at the brand new stadium in Arlington. Jerry Jones’ $1.2 billion extravaganza is really a sight to behold. It is impressive in just about every way. The retractable roof, open endzone areas, integrated marketing and the unreal 11,200 square foot HD screen hanging from the roof are just a few of the items that make this “Jones Mahal” something every football fan should see. I still prefer the energy and design of Qwest field, but I’m glad I had the chance to see a Cowboys game (despite the fact that they beat the Seahawks pretty handily today).

I’ve posted a few pictures of the stadium in my Travel an Friends photo album.
