Earlier this month, I was on The Standard, a weekly public affairs program in Canada. The Standard is hosted by Peter Klein, a two-time Emmy Award-winning journalist. Klein has been a producer of 60 Minutes since 1999. The program was recorded on March 8 and aired throughout Canada on the weekend of March 12.

Part 1 Topics of the first segment of the interview included the ongoing health care debate, President Obama’s first year in office, Democrats inability to connect with voters in the heartland, taxes and spending in Washington.

Part 2 The second part of the interview covered the liberalism of Seattle, President Bush’s legacy, his faith, the response to 9/11 and Iran.
